MOLLE II or FILBE?
Both MOLLE II and FILBE packs are highly regarded and widely used by the military, but which one is better to sell ultimately depends on your target market and their needs. Here are some factors to consider:
Design and Features: MOLLE II packs and FILBE packs both have unique designs and features that cater to different needs. MOLLE II packs have a modular design that allows for customization and flexibility, while FILBE packs have a streamlined design that prioritizes weight distribution and comfort. If your target market values customization and flexibility, MOLLE II packs may be the better choice. If they prioritize comfort and ease of use, FILBE packs may be a better option.
Price: MOLLE II packs are generally less expensive than FILBE packs, which can make them more appealing to budget-conscious buyers.
Brand Reputation: MOLLE II packs are made by the well-known and respected military supplier, Eagle Industries, while FILBE packs are made by the reputable military supplier, Propper International. Buyers may be more likely to trust a product made by a well-known and respected brand.
Availability: MOLLE II packs may be more widely available than FILBE packs.
The FILBE pack actually replaced the ILBE (Improved Load Bearing Equipment) pack, not the MOLLE pack. The ILBE pack was designed and developed by Arc'teryx for the USMC in the early 2000s and was first fielded in 2004. The ILBE pack was an improvement over the previous generation of Marine Corps packs, and was designed to be more comfortable, durable, and adaptable to a wider range of mission requirements.
However, the USMC identified several areas for improvement in the ILBE pack, and the FILBE pack was developed to address these shortcomings. The FILBE pack was designed to be more comfortable and adjustable for different body types, and to provide better weight distribution and load-carrying capabilities. It also incorporated new materials and features to make it more durable and weather-resistant.
The FILBE pack was first issued to Marines in 2011 and has been used in various combat operations and training exercises since then. It is still in use by the USMC today, although there have been some modifications and updates to the design over the years.
